Jill Hennessy has been a television actress for more than 30 years. She was born in Edmonton Alberta Canada, on November 25, 1968. Her appearance on Law and Order She was featured on Law and Order along with Chris Noth. Hennessy, who was born in Edmonton Alberta was one of the main characters on the series. Her father, John Hennessy was a meat salesman, and executive in sales/marketing which required a lot of travelling and led to numerous shifts of the family. Maxine Hennessy, who worked as a secretary within the family, left in 1982 and she was raised partly by Eleanor her paternal grandmother. Jacqueline has an identical twin brother and an older sister. Both write for magazines as well as television host in Canada. Hennessy has a lineage that goes back to Irish French Swedish Italian on her father's side and predominantly Ukrainian Roma along with Austrian on her mother's side. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to perform in Toronto's subway. Hennessy was the first actress to make her debut with her sister in Dead Ringers, 1988.
