MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted by his international reach. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his first full-length album. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. He then was a part of Ozuna to record the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He worked together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and in the year following, he dropped his sophomore album chart-topping Dopamina. Turizo has an musical family, as both his parents and brother are musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. While a boy was in school, he took guitar and saxophone. His initial choice of career was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under the help of a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he found his ability to sing and also changed the course his life.
